I first moved to Philadelphia in 1998 to study photography. In many ways, I grew up here, but I left for New York in 2003 to cut my teeth in the business. Twelve years, dozens of commissions, a wife and two kids later, I knew it was time return to plant some roots.
Philadelphia taught me many things that reflect in my work:
I have an intimate style; the camera feels like a participant.
I’m open; a project starts with an idea, but all involved bring something to the table.
I am direct; I keep it simple, to let the subjects speak for themselves.
